29″ Wheels / 115mm Rear / 120mm Front

Built for the ups and downs. Built to explore.

*NEW* Push ELEVENSIX-R Micro spec’d for Ranger frames.

We made this bike with one thing in mind; to enjoy the ups as much as the downs. We love the Rascal but we wanted something a little lighter and faster. So we took the legendary CBF platform somewhere it’s never been before…think XC light, XC efficiency, with the extra-high punch of that bottomless CBF feel. It is over a pound lighter than the Rascal frame and tough enough to inspire confidence on the descents. Welcome to the Ranger- a bike that takes modern XC suspension to a whole new level. Its right at home at the start line of a race, all day in the mountains or just rallying the local trails after work.

A known clearance issue exists between the mounting bolts on Shimano XT M8100 / SLX M7100 chainrings and the Revel Ranger frame. If you plan to use a Shimano XT or SLX crankset with your Ranger frame, you will need to use a 3rd party, direct mount chainring with Boost spacing (52mm chainline, 3mm offset). We recommend the 32t Wolftooth Direct Mount Chainring for Shimano Cranks.

Geometry & Sizing

The Ranger has a few unique geometry features, and the second you hop on this bike you’ll feel that it wants to go fast, uphill and down. Long and not too low, slack but stable. The short stays and recommended 120mm fork is for a speedy, more aggressive pedaling stance or a 130mm fork for a more balanced and capable ride.

CBF Explained

CBF™ focuses on designing around the Center of Curvature (CC) and balancing that with the Instant Center (IC). Until now, most suspension systems have focused solely on the IC. CBF points the chainline and drive forces directly into the IC throughout 100-percent of the travel by balancing the CC over the chainring, resulting in maximum pedaling efficiency, regardless of where you are in the travel, what terrain you are on or what kind of power you’re putting down. All the power you put into the pedals propels you one direction–forward—allowing the suspension to do its job completely independent of drivetrain and braking forces, and making the sag setting much less important. When we first rode the largely-unknown CBF system, we knew it was something special, and we knew we could make the best riding carbon mountain bikes using this magical formula.
